These terms cover using this website. The agreement covering your therapy is a separate document you sign with your clinician, and nothing here overrides it.
This site is information, not care
Everything published here — pages, articles, workshop recordings, chat during a live workshop — is general information. It is not therapy, not a clinical assessment, and not advice about your situation. Reading it does not make you a client of Thornfield and does not create any duty of care between you and a clinician named on it.
This site is not for emergencies
Nothing here is monitored out of hours and nobody is watching a form at 3am. If you are in crisis, use the numbers in the banner at the foot of every page: call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or 911 if someone is in immediate danger.
Enquiries and bookings
Sending an enquiry does not reserve an appointment. An appointment exists once a clinician has confirmed it to you directly. Fees, availability and waiting times shown on this site are kept current but can change between your reading them and your booking.
Cancellations and payment
The cancellation and payment terms published on the fees page apply to booked sessions and to places in a group. Course and workshop places bought through this site are governed by the refund terms shown alongside the purchase at the time you make it.
Live workshops and chat
Live workshop chat is public and is logged. Do not post identifying detail about yourself or anyone else. We remove posts containing identifiable clinical material without discussion, and we may remove anyone who repeatedly does it.
Our content
The words, photographs and layouts on this site belong to the practice. Quote us with attribution and a link; do not republish a page in full or use our material to train a commercial model without asking.
Links out
We link to other organisations where they are more useful than we are. We do not control them and we are not responsible for what they say or do.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Oregon. Nothing in them limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a patient.
